Starting a podcast is something my family has encouraged me to do for years. Why? Because so much of the information I share with women is scattered across a million places, and having one central hub just makes sense. Even more than that, it’s because of the incredible Sweetlifer Community we’ve built over the nearly eight years since Sweet Elaine Boutique first opened its doors.

This year, 2025, the Color of the Year is Mocha Mousse. It is a gorgeous color, but as someone who has bought clothes for a clothing store for years, I have to say, there hasn't been much emphasis on brown, or at least not more than normal. In fact, the Spring 2025 color palette released by clothing designers is not out of the norm from normal Spring colors, but maybe with a softness to it. Brown seems to own the Fall and Winter color palette every year, no matter if it is a "color of the year" or not.
